Campervan Access & Facilities

End of the Road has a well-run campervan field within easy walking distance of the main arena. Campervan tickets must be purchased in advance and include a pitch for the duration. The field is on grass with reasonable drainage. Basic toilet and water facilities are provided. The atmosphere in the campervan area is friendly and sociable. Early September brings its own planning wrinkles: the days are noticeably shorter, so solar yields less than in high summer — arrive with the leisure battery brimmed and be a little more careful with lights and charging than you would in July. Evenings turn cool once the sun drops, so pack warm bedding and a jumper for the walk back from the woodland stages. As facilities are deliberately simple, arrive self-sufficient: fresh water tank full, waste and toilet cassette empty, and a water carrier so you can top up on foot. The sociable field culture is part of the charm — chairs out, kettle on, comparing notes on the afternoon’s discoveries — so pitch tidily, leave walking room between vans, and wind the volume down when the arena closes. A string of battery-powered fairy lights makes your van easier to find among the trees after dark, and suits the setting perfectly. Rural Dorset lanes are narrow on the final approach, so allow extra time and arrive in daylight if you can.
