The UK's Trusted Campervan Converter Directory
The Camper Directory exists to make finding a campervan converter easier and more transparent. Each listing shows the checks we have confirmed. A profile can be live while some of those checks still say Not verified.
Why The Camper Directory?
Commissioning a campervan conversion is one of the biggest purchases most people make. Yet most buyers start with a Google search and hope for the best.
The Camper Directory changes that. It lists UK conversion companies with reviews, portfolio galleries, and side-by-side comparison, so you can see what is on file before you get in touch.
We record Companies House, insurance, Gas Safe and NCC where we have checked them. Those checks are not complete for every listing, and the profile says Not verified when we have not confirmed one. A listing does not wait for every check before it goes live.
Our Vetting Checklist
These are the checks we record when we have them, not a list every listing has passed. The full process is published on our verification page.
- Companies House registration check
- Public liability insurance verification
- Gas Safe registration (where applicable)
- NCC accreditation check (where held)
- Business address and trading history
- Portfolio review for quality evidence
What We Stand For
Our directory is built around a simple idea: consumers deserve better tools for finding tradespeople they can trust.
Vetting First
Profiles show Companies House, Gas Safe, NCC and insurance where we have checked them. A listing can appear before every check is complete, and the profile says so.
Honest Reviews
All reviews are from verified customers. We rate across build quality, communication, value for money, and aftercare — not just a single star rating.
Easy Discovery
Search by location, vehicle type, budget, and speciality. Our filters are built for people who actually need to find a converter, not just browse.
Community Driven
Built with input from the UK van life community. We share build stories, festival guides, and practical resources alongside the directory.
