Completed builds to examine
Vantage’s 2019 NEO stock example has photographs and a specification listing two 100W solar panels, a 100Ah lithium battery and an end lounge. Compare its storage and bed setup with the photographed Murvi Morello above. These are actual completed vehicles documented by their manufacturers, not our own road tests. Stock pages remain useful layout evidence even if the vehicles have sold.
A shortlist that fits your brief
- Match the base van and sleeping layout. Ask for two recent builds on the same body length, with finished bed measurements and the required number of belted travel seats. For a large panel van, start with our Ducato layout comparison.
- Compare the complete written scope. Separate vehicle purchase, conversion labour, VAT, appliances, heating, electrical capacity and optional equipment. A lower headline price can describe a much smaller job. Use the budget calculator as an estimate, then obtain quotes.
- Check the evidence behind credentials. Ask for current insurance, relevant installation records, warranty terms and customer references. Read the profile’s verification panel; a stored badge or score alone does not establish current certification.
- Plan the working relationship. Agree a dated build slot, staged payments, change-control costs, handover checks and where warranty work happens. Travel distance matters when several workshop visits are needed.

What the Directory Trust Score Means
The list below sorts 231 active directory records by their stored trust score. It does not rank how well each company fits your individual build.
The scoring code weights reviews at 30%, vetting tier at 20%, profile completeness at 15%, response rate at 10%, experience at 10%, accreditation flags at 10% and portfolio size at 5%. Historical seed records also contain preset scores. We have not confirmed that every live record has been recalculated using the current formula.
A score therefore reflects the data held, including how complete a listing is. It does not prove a workshop inspection, independently verified installation quality or current credentials. Check the dated evidence with the company before paying a deposit.
